The Fly-Fishing Entomology Class is a single session held on Saturday March 23 at the STFF Clubhouse. Core information will be aimed at those who are relatively new to fly fishing and those who would like to refresh their knowledge of aquatic insects and how to present their imitations.

9:30 – 10:30 am Aquatic Insect Groups Important to the Fly Fisher – presentation on morphology, recognition, life cycles, and availability

References and Methods of Sampling / Collecting Aquatic Insects

10:30 – 10:45 pm Break

10:45 am – 12:30pm The Art of Fly Fishing – directed, interactive discussion on insect imitations (flies) and their presentation
